The 7th Annual Chester County Showcase

The 7th Annual Chester County Showcase for Professional Meeting & Event Planners is a premiere tradeshow for qualified corporate events and meeting planners from all over the Mid-Atlantic region and further, featuring Chester County’s best and most elegant event services and hospitality facilities all in one place. See exhibitors from the most elegant hotels, premier wineries, finest restaurants, state-of-the-art conference centers, and elite caterers from all over Chester County on May 21, 2008.

The host site and exhibitor for the showcase is Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. This site boasts a rich 200-year history with its origins dating back to 1700’s. The property began its journey in becoming a world-class horticulture facility when Mr. Pierre du Pont purchased it from the Pierce family in 1907. After the purchase, Mr. du Pont constructed massive and beautiful displays of flowers, trees, and shrubs, a theater with hidden water jets, illuminated fountains, and year round greenhouse displays. Today, Longwood Gardens continues to provide the world’s best floral displays and even tropical exhibits. In addition to the showcase, the event will feature seminars with one seminar presenter Dave Magrogran; owner and CEO of DMG Group, owner of Kildare’s Irish Pubs, Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, and Grady David’s Restaurant, and Chester County Chamber of Commerce 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year. Also, attendees will enjoy refreshments, various prizes, and giveaways.
